Welcome back to The Stall Standard!

This month: new data shows what your restroom is actually communicating, the category most facilities teams haven't figured out yet, why it's also the easiest one to get right, and a new way to get started with UNICORN in every stall.

THE RESTROOM IS THE REPORT CARD

Bradley Company’s 2026 survey put numbers to something facilities teams already know in their gut: restrooms shape how people judge a business.

According to the survey, 86% of people expect the quality of a business’s restrooms to reflect the quality of its goods and services. Another 85% form a negative impression of a facility when the restroom is poorly maintained, and 73% say a bad restroom experience would make them think twice about coming back.

That means the restroom is not just a back-of-house detail. It's a front-facing signal. Every time someone walks in, they're making a judgment about the organization, and that judgment sticks.

THE ONE THING MOST RESTROOMS ARE STILL GETTING WRONG.

Soap. ✔ Paper towels. ✔ Toilet paper. ✔ Period care? Usually an afterthought.

When period products do make it into a restroom, they're often in the wrong place, outside the stall, which means someone has to leave the stall to get one. And the product itself? Cardboard applicator tampons, a choice that cost one company $20K. Then there’s restocking: piece by piece, box by box, with no easy way to manage consumption.

UNICORN in every stall solves all three.

The dispenser goes right inside the stall. The products are made with organic cotton, and the tampons use plant-based applicators, the kind most people already buy for themselves. Our cartridge refill system takes 10 seconds.

Less friction for the people using the restroom. Less guesswork for the people managing it.

We recently got a call from a distributor partner:“We have a customer that needs your help. They’re sitting on $20K of tampons they’re going to donate.”

A $20K investment, gone. The reason? Cardboard applicators. And it shouldn’t surprise anyone. The market moved away from cardboard years ago. Today, 88% of tampon sales are non-cardboard applicators, and Amazon’s top sellers tell the same story. Most dispensing solutions just haven’t caught up.

That’s why UNICORN only stocks organic tampons with plant-based applicators. Because providing period care shouldn't be a $20K lesson. It should be the right product, in the right place, from the start.

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED

The UNICORN system was built to make this the easiest category in the restroom to manage. Two SKUs. One dispenser. Zero headaches.

Four years of data across corporate partners tells us one stall goes through one case of tampons and one case of pads a year. It's that simple.
